The Turn Around!
October 13th/2009 was the day we had all been waiting for since mid-June. A lot of us have had a very difficult summer – and that is putting it mildly.
Yet, when I woke yesterday, things still felt very much the same. As a matter of fact, it felt very 'repressing'. A number of people actually commented that they had a dull headache yesterday. So, what exactly happened?
Couple of things were happening:
a) When Jupiter turned around....straight across from it was the Moon (that was the repressing/heavy feeling) as today I've got to say...it is somewhat lighter.
b) jupiter is quite a ways up there....so of course we are not going to be feeling it 'immediately"....it will take a couple of days. THEN...we start to see things move forward.
However, as I watched the late-night News last night, they noted that indeed Obama had received word that day, that the Health Care issue finally starting to move forward. Hmmm....Jupiter personified! Jupiter (planet of expansion) moved forward in the sign of Aquarius (sign of humanity).
As I wrote in the Spin, Spin, Spin article – some of the planets had come to a full blown stop during the summer months. October 13th….they start to roll again. Amen!!! So, no doubt, some of you have felt very stuck.....I guarantee you that by next week this time, something wil have had to give...allowing doors to open.
Certainly opportunities will open more for Air signs: Aquarius, Libra & Gemini....more than before as they really felt stuck.
When we look in the 2nd house (where the 8 would be on a regular clock)…see the planet that looks like a ‘4’? That is the planet of Jupiter. The planet of expansion has been retrograding (going backwards) since mid-June. So none of us have been expanding in ANY direction!
We have seen this stall in a lot of areas of life:
-the car industry has been struggling to try and move forward
- the health care industry has tried to move forward in the US
- the government can’t decide if they want to go for an election or not
- the financial markets haven’t been able to find stability
And I bet if we were to ask each and every one of you – you’ve felt stymied in your life in some way as well. Finally we’ll be able to see action moving forward again.
As you can see in the chart (2nd & 3rd house)
-Jupiter (planet of expansion) is at 17 Deg Aquarius
-Chiron (wounded warrior/great teacher) is at 21 Deg Aquarius (still retrograding)
-Neptune (planet of dreams) is at 23 Deg Aquarius (still retrograding)
Which means there is still a bit of time…..but at least we see SOME movement! Prepare to expand this week, even if it may feel very minutely – you’ve stood still long enough. What has the Universe forced you to think about since mid-June? Have you prepared during this past retrograde? Are you ready to step outside of your comfort zone?
Comfort zones are exactly that - where we 'feel' comfortable. Unfortunately, as a society, we rarely grow inside of our comfort zone. We only grow when we stretch our wings and allow ourselves to move forward.
I was saying to a friend that when I think about this past Jupiter retrograde - I get a vision of everyone crammed up against a door – waiting for that door to open. This is how we all have been feeling.
What happens when that door opens? Some people will get through the door, while others get left behind. Those who get left behind, are the people who chose to stay within their comfort zones.
Remember, when a planet retrogrades (as it has done all summer) it’s the time to do the RE stuff: re-look, re-think, re-test, re-check…..making plans kind of time. We have indeed been stuck in that mindset since mid-june and perhaps have complained that we haven't been able to move forward no matter what we have tried doing. Now is the time to make that 'moving forward' happen. The door has now opened (as of 12:30am Tuesday - Oct 13th). I suspect we'll feel more of this rollout around Thursday/Friday of this same week. Already, today (Wednesday), I'm starting to feel somewhat of a clearing.
The next planet to follow suit will be Chiron. Often we do call Chiron the Wounded Warrior….which some of you may feel. Again I say – a lot of that will be due to the preparation you have put into moving forward. Whereas a lot of you will have a very important teacher come into your life. Teachers can come in many forms (so pay close attention) – it may simply be a piece of advice a good friend gives you. It may be someone within a group you have just met. It could be an instructional book someone has placed within your hands. Be open and aware as Chiron pushes you ahead.
Then, on Oct 18th we’ve got a NEW MOON in the sign of Libra. This is also about new growth, so this should be a very enlivening month. (you can click on the link to that article upper left hand side of this present article)
I see this as a very POSITIVE month – if you wish it to be! Nobody can push you forward if you choose to stay stuck. This is one of those months where YOU decide. All astrological signs will benefit from Jupiter moving forward.
As you can also see by looking at the chart I presented earlier in this article, Neptune (the one that looks like a pitchfork in the 3rd house) will still be retrograding up to the beginning of November. That is asking you WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS - long term? (I’ll talk more about that as we get closer)….
But for now……be joyful! This is our time to move forward. Wherever this shows up in your chart, the Universe is asking you - get thy rear end in gear - time to move forward. We are preparing the stage....make sure you play your part! Don’t allow this opportunity to pass you by!
