THE PLAY IN THE HEAVENS
The Full Moon in Aries (Oct 23rd) seemed to do a lot of people in! The October Full Moon is always a strong one because it starts the cycle of the Full Moons travelling through the zodiac. It was in the sign of Aries (the first FIRE sign)….so it set off a lot of aggression and anger. How many people around you simply seemed to blow off steam for no reason on that weekend?
As you may have noted, there are some very strange weather patterns happening around the world. That is easily explainable according to the planetary alignments. We have a lot of planets sitting on previous Eclipse points - which automatically will bring in wierd and wonderful weather.
So what’s happening in the heavens? Lots!!! And Lots!!!!
PLUTO (planet of endings to start new beginnings) is in the dance with the NORTH NODE (our sense of purpose).

- Are you feeling that things/relationships which worked before, simply doesn’t seem to be working anymore?
We had an eclipse on that EXACT same spot in late June this year. Some of our thoughts may be returning to that time.
Times they are a-changin…..the old is going away. The earth is re-cleansing and it is forcing you to see life through a different set of eyes. Pluto & North Node will be in this dance until the ending part of this year. Allow the change to take place in your life. Ask the Angels to work with you…for whatever your highest good may be.
Sometimes it may be difficult to remember the saying: “When one door closes ____________” I bet everyone was able to finish that sentence.
- What door is closing for you right now?
- Is it around your career?
- Is it around your home life?
- Is it around what ‘use’ to make you happy – doesn’t anymore?
This alignment is in the early sign of Capricorn…so our Earth sign people (Capricorn, Virgo & Taurus) may be struggling to keep their feet on the ground. You may feel like the ground is shifting under-neath you….and indeed you are correct. Never fear, the ground will remain stable again….but the Universe is shaking you up. Its perhaps forcing you to make a stand of some kind.
We all have the sign of Capricorn somewhere within our chart, and wherever Pluto & North Node to the moon is going through your chart….without a doubt, it is forcing you to re-evaluate life in that spectrum. Everything has a cycle….some of us are changing cycles.
On the world stage, Capricorn represents business and how business is being done. Can you feel the shift in the business world? Things are shifting and changing so quickly! I suspect as Pluto & North Node continue their dance in the heavens we’ll see a lot of shifting within the business world. Some of those businesses may not make it, once the dance of the planets is complete…..but it simply opens the door for new arrivals.
JUPITER & URANUS are presently retrograding. I wrote about Jupiter a few weeks ago and commented that Jupiter (planet of expansion) will be moving forward mid-November. But perhaps some of those ‘endings’ I commented on earlier in this article…perhaps they are not coming fast enough for you! The Full Moon we experienced last weekend set the aggression into motion - - get it done…and get it done NOW! Until Jupiter moves…..mid-November…good luck with that.
Uranus Retrograding can be a good thing. It all depends on where it shows up within your chart. Uranus is the planet of unexpected events. When it is retrograding it means that the ‘unexpected events’ have slowed down somewhat. Unexpected events can also signal ‘good’ times…they are not always bad. If it is going through your 7th house (house of partnerships) - - it could easily bring someone ‘unexpectedly’ into your life. If it is going through your 10th house (house of career)…there could be a lot of unexpected events going on at your place of work. Uranus turns around very early December…..so we can expect unexpected events at that point in time. (more about that as we get into December).
NEPTUNE & CHIRON are presently retrograding. This is clouding our decision process quite a bit. Neptune is about our dreams and what we want in life. So for a lot of us – it depends on what day you ask us. We may like the job today….hate it tomorrow. We may like this relationship today…hate it tomorrow. We are presently like a pendulum! It's been going through the later degrees of Aquarius so Aquarians are on a real trip right now. (Ask me..I can verify that easily lol).
Aquarius is also about that need for freedom…hence we are all feeling somewhat stressed…with no time for self. Luckily Neptune does change around November 7th helping reality to truly kick in. Hopefully that will stop this pendulum effect.
We often think of “Chiron” as the wounded warrior…but it can also represent a great teacher. This doesn’t have to be in ‘physical’ form…but a great lesson is presently being taught.

- What should you be paying attention to at this present time?
This combination has brought in its ability to make us feel: not smart enough, not cute enough, not small enough, not likeable enough, ____________________ (simply fill in the blank). It will be nice when we see this connection break and we are able to move on. Neptune turning direct on November 7th will be the first step in breaking that hold. We've had it all summer.
VENUS is retrograding in the sign of Scorpio presently. We are all looking closing at who and what we love right now. Venus went retrograde on Oct 8th - - the night of the NEW moon. This is not helping the ‘pendulum’ effect we all are feeling right now. (like it today…hate it tomorrow). There are a lot of relationship issues being worked through now – whether we realize it or not. These are not only love relationships; but they are also relationships concerning work, friendships, business, and family. You may be surprised when we come out of this retrograde (November 18th) who we have cut out or let into our life. NEW MOON in November is on the 6th. It is in the sign of Scorpio. This is a time of empowerment and of change. Allow yourself to meditate with a Smoky Quartz or a Rutilated Quartz crystal as this is the moon about self transformation. Allow yourself to soar higher. If you wish to burn some incense, sage or cedar is always a good choice for this new moon.
FULL MOON in November is on the 21st. It is in the sign of Taurus. Allow yourself to meditation on this evening with something plush and comfy. Taurus loves the feeling of security around them. Allow yourself to feel secure within as you feel the Angel realm around you. Sigh and feel that sense of contentment within. Peridot stone will allow you to search your inner needs. Peridot encourages positive expression during this time. Bergamot or Ylang-ylang would allow for the opening of the senses.
As we can see there are a lot of planetary changes and shifting going on. All of which are necessary in order to clear the air coming into the new vibration of 2011.
We need this change – we need this shift.
