DON’T LET MARS BITE YOU
IN THE BUM
Are you feeling like you might want to hit somebody (some-thing)?
Are you feeling frustration abounds and there are no doors opening?
Are you feeling somewhat overwhelmed with what life has dealt you?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of those questions, you are perhaps being bombarded by Mars! Mars is the planet of aggression which is sitting presently (and have been since 2 weeks ago) right next to the planet Saturn – the planet of responsibility along with Venus. - who/what we love.
People often ask me “Aren’t you affected by the planetary alignments?” And I often, quite truthfully answer “No – because I know what to expect…and the lesson they are trying to teach” So I watch for the lesson….and hopefully I see it before it bites me in the bum!
We’ve got some really really wacky alignments going on right now…..and Mars is holding all the cards! Gotta hate it when that happens LOL
So this is what it looks like up in the sky right now (these planets sitting right nxt to each other)…which means everyone is experiencing this lineup:
Mars 4 degrees Libra/Saturn 1 degrees Libra./Venus 28 degrees Virgo….
Luckily Mars & Venus are relatively fast moving planets and won’t stay in this position for any more than approx 20th August. This obviously means be careful…this is an ‘accident waiting to happen’ kinda time.
The Universe is amazing on how clever they can be to set up lessons!
On Sunday past…I broke a foot….why?
Because it was 4am and Sam (my cat) had not come in for the night. The fear set in (Mars - aggressive energy so it made me mad) which also kicked in (my sense of responsibility (Saturn) for someone (a cat) I love very dearly (Venus)! This kind of a line-up doesn’t have us thinking very clearly! When we allow Mars (aggression) to take us for a ride…we’re off to the races - which is apparently the trap I fell into!
So…is there something (someone) really pissing you off right now? The question is “Why”? Is it because they are not living up to ‘your’ expectations? Stop…take a moment and logically ask – Why should they?
The next day I was soooooo mad at Sam because he caused me to break my foot. Wait a minute! Did he really???? Wasn’t it MY choice to go out on the back deck like some kind of mad-woman to try and retrieve him? Was it REALLY his fault? Now take that kind of analogy into your own life. Is it really the ‘other’ persons fault the way things are working out…OR…is it really your attitude in how you are looking at it. Nobody can MAKE you do anything…unless you ‘let’ them. I know…hard lesson to learn..but it is reality.
Life is all about ‘choice’…..I had 2 choices…… Gone out to the back deck to retrieve a cat who was quite safe and happy out OR I could have asked the Angels to keep him safe until the morning. I must have thought I was better than the Angels that night because obviously ‘I” could do it better…..hence my choice to go out on the back deck at 4am…..
The difficulty comes in…because Mars (aggression) is presently sitting in the sign of Libra (balance & harmony). One of these things is not like the other! Really not a great sign for Mars to be passing through…..because aggression and balance are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Hence… we may not be using a lot of our ‘reasoning’ ability properly. We AGGRESSIVELY will make things BALANCE OUT! Okeeeee then!!!! Can you see where that is playing out in your life? Trust me, we all are being affected by it.
Add on top of that a seesaw effect:
Mars, Saturn, Venus ------------opposes------ Jupiter, Uranus
(sitting on one side of the sky) (sitting on other side)
Making us feel like we are pulled in 2 different directions. Luckily right now both Jupiter & Uranus are both retrograding (that’s a GOOD thing!!!) We probably couldn’t handle it if they were also going direct and having as much strength as the three on the left.
Jupiter & Uranus gave us tons of opportunities late spring/early summer…..which seems to have quieted down somewhat……that’s good because it gives us a sense of dealing with the Mars,Saturn,Venus combination.
Who is affected by this? Everyone!
Why? Because it really has nothing to do with your birth chart. this is what the heavens are looking like up in the sky right at this moment in time.
Where does this lineup show up in your chart? What houses within your chart are being affected? Where are you feeling that pull and what is the huge lesson to you?
Lessons don’t HAVE to be difficult as long as you understand the implications of what it is about.
Some of the people taking a big brunt of these issues are late Virgos (around 17th-22nd Sept) and early Libras (around 23rd -30th Sept) - - that is where those 3 signs are presently sitting.
If you have your Natal SUN sign around that time period….it is creating a change in your ‘personality”…and how you view the world…
If you have your Natal MOON sign around that time period….you are on an emotional roller coaster ride and perhaps feeling overwhelmed with what is going on around you.
If you have your ASCENDANT (the face you show the world) around that degrees in the chart…..do what YOU want to do…..and forget about how other people view you.
Once we come out of this……..(3rd week August)……life will look somewhat differently. Hopefully we will have learned immensely from this!
