NOVEMBER 2011
AT A GLANCE
We’ve got a lot of things happening in November – so for me that presents an exciting astrological time. We’ve got the usual – New & Full Moons. But we also have an Eclipse happening in November as well as Neptune going direct. Let me break it down for you:
NEPTUNE DIRECT – Nov 9th 3:45 am (Atlantic Time)
Neptune is often considered the ‘dreamy’ planet but we also consider it the planet of illusion. It does rule the sign of Pisces – hence the Pisces people in our life generally like their ‘sleep/illusive’ time. They often have very explicit dreams and they are a fantastical sign - - have you ever read poetry created by a Pisces? They can create poetry like no other sign in the zodiac.
Neptune has been travelling through the sign of Aquarius now since 1998. Aquarius has been a difficult sign for Neptune to travel through, simply because Neptune is about ‘dreaminess’ and Aquarius comes from the ‘mentality/logical’ side of life. As you can see, this often can be two different viewpoints.
Neptune finished working in the sign of Aquarius and on April 30th/2011 it actually did enter the sign of Pisces and then on June 3rd it started to retrograde back…hence going back to finish off in the sign of Aquarius. This really created some confusion for the late Aquarians among us (people born mid February). They really thought they had pulled it together and then Neptune retrograded back and said “Wait a minute!!! You only THOUGHT you knew what you were doing….let’s play with your mind yet again…before I fully leave your sign.”
When Neptune turns around, I promise you it will be an emotional day for all of us. (Emotion can also be a good thing) because up in the sky the Moon (emotions) is lined up with Jupiter (planet of expansion) - - when those two line up together it always creates emotion throughout the entire world.
In the US’s chart, Neptune brings reality to their 10th house which is all about the administration of the country, the president and the reputation of the nation. Will be interesting to watch and see what comes forth about some of the candidates running for office. May be some dirty little secret that arises.
In Canada’s chart, Neptune will turn around in the 5th house on the chart, so it will bring reality to our world and force us to take a look about anything to do with our children and schools. Hopefully there will be a new interest in changing our education system which will better fit our Indigo & Crystal children.
Neptune, while retrograding will sometimes mask reality. It allows us the intuitiveness to know that something is amiss….but generally for the life of us…we can’t figure out what it is. Right now, up in the sky, Saturn is sitting at 23 degrees Libra (responsibility towards relationships…and keeping the peace & harmony). When Neptune turns on the 9th here will be some questions we all will be asking:

FULL MOON – Nov 10th 4:15pm (Atlantic time)
Full moon this time around is in the sign of Taurus - - dealing with how secure we feel. I’m a bit concerned about this full moon on the ‘world’ stage as it does a couple of things.
It creates an aspect to Pluto in Capricorn…..and as we have seen before – Pluto/Capricorn is about business on the world stage and especially firms that deal with ‘earth’ products i.e. oil, farming, Transportation aspects etc. I think this full moon will show us a problem erupting in a large business that we may not have seen before.
This will also be a full force push for Capricorn people born between Christmas & New Years. They have been feeling a force to end some things since this past Fall and I think we are here now. They will be questioning their security. So, as you can see it’s not just about the people in “Taurus” where we find the Full Moon – it really does affect every sign in the zodiac.
Where this full moon falls in your chart will affect the push it gives each and every one of us. If you were born with the Sun or Moon around 18 Deg Taurus, you can be sure it will ask you to ‘finish’ something.
NEW MOON ECLIPSE – Nov 25th 2:20am (Atlantic time)
Gotta love new moons as they signify new starts and new beginnings and they remain powerful for the next 2 years. This new moon is at 2 Deg Sagittarius. It’s a Solar Eclipse so it rids the old and begins the new. Sagittarius is a Fire sign and is all about Spirituality and the need for freedom. I can only hope this massively opens the door to spirituality like never before.
People who are born around the 24th November will be affected by this eclipse as it will open new doors and create great change within their lives.
Gemini’s who are born 22nd-24th May will actually have a door close on them – only to have one immediately open in front of them – almost simultaneously
It will be very interesting to watch over the next two years to see how it will affect countries. In Canada this eclipse happens in its 8th house which opens the door to the discussion of taxes and pensions. We can only hope that this ‘new beginning’ is to restructure the tax situation to help the people. We have a Grand Trine (aspect in a chart that looks like a ‘triangle’) happening which means essentially it connects in all 3 houses of the Canadian chart - - this is generally a very, very positive outlook. I’m ready for my taxes to diminish aren’t you?
In the US chart, this Solar Eclipse will happen in the 12th house on the chart which deals with things like hospitals and institutions, the crime and the enemies of the people so we perhaps will see a dedicated look on the health care system within the US and also talk on their crime situation and how to perhaps curtail that somewhat. Remember that a Solar Eclipse will open new modes of thought on this.
Dealing with governments in the astrological world is called "Mundane Astrology" and even though I profess I am not a Mundane Astrologer, I simply find it absolutely fascinating - I hope you do as well.
