JUNE 2012 – SUCH A PLANETARY PLAYGROUND
Way back when Moby Dick was just a guppie and I was a teenager, Merle Haggard came out with a song called “Stop the world”…and the lyrics go “Stop the world and let me off, I’m tired of going round and round….” How many of you feel like that these days? (I’m assuming most everyone reading this, is feeling a bit of it - - some of you more than others). Wow…that planetary alignment right now is crazy!!!! There is just sooo much Gemini energy and we all have the sign of Gemini somewhere within our charts. Remember, we all have a little bit (or a lot) of each one of the signs within our natal chart. Depending on where this energy is showing up in your chart (which house on your chart) will determine what part of your life it is affecting you.
ECLIPSE PATH: A lot of this spinning, believe it or not, started back with the Solar Eclipse we had May 20th. As I have said in so many other articles, not much is going to happen right on the day of the Eclipse….however, it sets up a highlighted, intense pattern up in the sky. The Eclipse was at 1 Degree Gemini. If we want a ‘visual’ on this – how many of you remember Star Trek and they would step inside of this transporter and say “Beam me up Scotty.” Well….let's think of this eclipse pathway as the transporter. Now the only way someone can be ‘beamed’ up….is to step inside. It’s the same with the planets. The eclipse set up a ‘transporter of energy’…and so now we wait for another planet to get inside of this highlighted energy (transporter). And yep…..we’re just about there. Jupiter (planet of expansion is just about ready to step into the transporter of highlighted energy….increasing the energy….making us want to GO!!!!!” Ehhh….wait a minute – “Go….go where???” Do you see how the spinning is happening? We feel the need to ‘go’…but ‘in what direction’ is what we are asking. For a lot of us, probably depends on what day or hour someone asks us.
VENUS RETROGRADE: Let’s step away from that eclipse concept for just a moment (but we need to keep it in the back of our mind as we continue on)….. The Ruler of Gemini (the sign this highlighted energy is in)….is the planet Venus. What’s Venus doing right now up in the sky? Venus is retrograding! It started to retrograde on May 15th…..and will turn around June 27th. Where it is in your chart it is asking you to review your life and to determine: Who you love……what you love…..who you want to still keep in your life…..who you want to release from your life…..where you need to make some changes and perhaps have been stalling on them....who you believe your loyalty is to There is a lot of back & forth conversations going on in our heads right now on how to ‘best handle’ some situations. It may even be forcing you to look at earlier decisions and to question – was it the right path? People who were born late May can be really struggling with this right at this very moment. I suspect when Venus turns back direct, we will truly have those answers.
JUPITER HITS THE ECLIPSE PATHWAY: When we get to mid-June, Jupiter will be centered in that high energy pathway (transporter) as we talked about earlier so it will be important to allow yourself to move forward. The part of your chart that highlights this section of the sky will push you forward even though you may not feel you have totally ‘thought it through’. That’s okay….we can always make changes as we go along. but without a doubt you will feel that push of energy trying to move you along a certain pathway. If you already have done a lot of those Venus questions (as I positioned earlier), you may be ready and set to go as soon as Jupiter enters that transporter energy mid-June.
SATURN RETROGRADE: Saturn, the great teacher, sense of restriction has been retrograding since 7th February. We will perhaps all be happy when it turns around 25th June. It’s teaching us about ‘relationships’ and ‘partnerships’ in general. It’s asking us to discern how much weight we wish to pull within a partnership and also to look at ‘who’ we feel we are responsible "to." Saturn has been travelling through the sign of Libra since 2010. In the Fall this year – 2012 , it will move into the sign of Scorpio for the next 2 years – so Scorpio’s will feel a very ‘restrictive’ energy around them for the next 2 years. On the ‘world’ stage, we will see this on our Police Force & Armed Forces. Where it shows up in your chart, it is asking you to get the lesson in that avenue of your life. If it is travelling through your 11th house - - Hopes, Dreams & Wishes & Friends – it is asking you to in-depthly look there for the lessons. If it is going through your 6th house, it may be affecting your health in some way – trying to point you towards certain lessons. Because Saturn is such a restrictive planet, we generally have a dislike for it - - however, without Saturn we wouldn’t be evolving and getting any lessons – so it’s a bit of a double-edged sword. Presently with Venus retrograding and also Saturn in Libra, relationships are under high scrutiny for everyone.
URANUS SQUARE PLUTO: Over the next 2 years we will see this line-up in our chart numerous times – it is the alignment that is creating so much chaos on the world stage. Uranus is presently going through the early signs of Aries (birthdays 23rd-30th March are mainly affected). It is the planet of unexpected events – so I would think these folks really do need to adopt the lyrics of “Stop the World and Let me off”…
It is also creating an aspect to Pluto (planet of endings to make new beginnings). Pluto is presently at the early signs of Capricorn – definitely affecting people who are late December/early January individuals – creating all kinds of ‘endings’ in their life – and qute often ‘unexpectedly’.
This is also where we are getting these crazy weather patterns….one day spring…next day summer…next day Fall….next day spring etc.
So for all of us, throughout this year and next – we can expect “unexpected’ events to create ‘endings’. It will be a bit of a push & pull type of a feel to it. Depending on where these planets are transiting through your chart, will determine what part of life this will detail for you.
Realize that some of these ‘endings’ are a MUST in your life – in order for you to move forward. When we have a ‘stubborn’ side to us – often we don’t want to make those choices….but sometimes it is a necessity. So, if you don’t willingly make them, the Universe will decide for you.
Uranus will retrograde on 13th July…..so a lot of these ‘unexpected’ events will slow down. Then mark your calendar for December 12th as we jump back on the unexpected events trek. I’ll write more on this later.
MERCURY RETROGRADE
Just a bit of a warning - - if you have anything to sign in the next few months – I highly recommend you do it relatively soon. Our next Mercury retrograde is 13th July – 8th August. We always try to avoid signing important documents during a Mercury retrograde.
Allow yourself to spin with this energy. Realize that – yes the Universe is having you ‘think’ crazy thoughts – that’s okay – it's opening you to the world of ‘possibilities’ – things you wouldn’t even remotely think of without these bursts of energy. It's forcing you to 'think' outside of the box.
Know that nothing happens without a reason. Sometimes we are not ‘meant’ to know the reason, but instead, learn to ‘be in the moment’. Planetary energy is high right now – how can you harness that energy and work with these planetary alignments? Open yourself up to ‘new possibilities’ - - time to step into that Transporter….let’s travel to even higher and greater heights. I'm ready to step into the Transporter - are you?
