So many times, throughout this past season I have heard - - What strange weather patterns!! Yep – that would be correct. And…when we have strange weather patterns we can always be sure that the planets are up to some kind of games. What is it they are trying to teach us? Have you asked yourself that question – sometimes to no avail?
Back on June 1st there was a Solar Eclipse in Gemini and on July 1st – the Capricorn New Moon was also an Eclipse. Both of these eclipses affected many more people than just Capricorns & Gemini’s. And the interesting part to that…is that we are still being majorly affected by these Eclipses (hence the weather pattern shifting).
On July 30th – the New Moon in Leo (7 Deg) marks a whole new cycle. We’ve got a bit of an interesting aspect that is coming along with it. We have Pluto (planet of endings) – presently retrograding (so not working at full force) going to create a Square with Uranus (planet of unexpected events).
What does that all mean? Whenever we have ‘Square” aspects – we can use the word “Challenges”. So somewhere within our chart there will be an ‘unexpected event” (Uranus) going to force an ‘ending’ (Pluto)…..only to start a new beginning (New Moon). Because this is the line-up in the sky (no matter what astrological sign you are)…every person on earth will be affected by this lineup.
From a World perspective – Pluto is in Capricorn – so that is definitely connected to Business/Stock/Money Markets and Uranus often represents an “unexpected event’ - - can be caused by weather - - or perhaps war. This does make me question if part of this line-up is represented in the News concerning the US Financial situation right now as well. Hopefully “Uranus – unexpected events” is something that can help - - but remember – we are dealing with a “Square aspect’…creating challenges.
Where in your chart is the Universe asking you to make changes? Where are they perhaps creating some difficulty? Where do you feel on ‘high alert’? Are you also dealing with some kind of ‘money’ issue that you are trying to get a handle on?
Coming into August, we see yet more planetary alignments that will affect us.
Mercury (planet of communication) will spend quite a bit of time in the sign of Leo this summer, simply because we will soon see it retrograde back over the places it has just been sitting since July 3rd. Are you dealing with some ‘dramatic’ communication going on around you – or with you? Leo brings in lots of matters connecting with the heart. Is a love situation going the way you want it? (or not?) Mercury in Leo is a great time for ‘writing’ - - have you been feeling a need to journal – or write a book?
Mercury entered the sign of Leo very early July and by the time we reach August 4th it will have barely moved into the next sign which of course is Virgo. On August 2nd – Mercury starts to retrograde back into the sign of Leo once again - - just in case you didn’t understand what was said the FIRST time!! Hehehehe. As we know, we NEVER sign anything during a Mercury retrograde as there is a lot of double-talk that goes on during a Mercury retrograde that people simply do not understand. August 26th Mercury stops its retrograding motion and once again moves forward…..but now it means it stays in the sign of Leo at least up until 9th September. Careful of those ‘heated’ discussions that can ensue. Somewhere within your chart you have the sign of Leo - - this is the place to beware of the conversation during this Mercury retrograde.
Mars will create some agression in the next little while. It makes a square (challenges) to Uranus (planet of unexpected events) on August 9th. (Same time as that Mercury retrograde). So…….write that date in your calendar!!! Will there be an unexpected event on that day? Highly likely yes!!!! Will it get you aggressive? Highly likely yes!!!! Will you understand by conversation what just happened? NO – because of the Mercury retrograde. So…..keep your tongue in check (especially Cancers & Leos!!!!) until you at least get a clear vision of what exactly just happened. Careful driving on those days as well, because Mars squaring have been known to cause accidents.
Then, the next day – August 10th…..it will be opposite to Pluto (planet of endings). This is highly likely a day one will feel they simply are ‘spinning’ but can’t seem to create ‘the end’ any way they may try. Don’t let the frustration take you for a ride - - realize that ‘this too shall pass’…..
Whoever said: “If you can keep my head when all around you…..” – they need to be here now!!!!
In July we have had Uranus (unexpected events) begin its retrograde motion on July 9th. As I have said in previous writings, I actually do like Uranus retrograding, because it means our ‘unexpected events’ have a tendency to slow down. We do see Uranus turn back around again 10th December….and off to the races we go. Luckily it has moved out of the sign of Pisces and has moved into early signs of Aries. March 21st-27th babies are on a bit of a ride because of it…but hopefully things have slowed down somewhat for them since it started its retrograde motion.
Back in early June – Neptune – planet of dreams & illusions started its retrograde motion from the sign of Pisces, back into the sign of Aquarius. We all are wearing some rose colored glasses when Neptune retrogrades in our chart. Where is it giving you some illusions that you need to look closely at? We really do have to question our reality when Neptune retrogrades. It is extremely important to question exactly what it is that we love to do! And then the question that follows is: Why aren’t you doing it? When Neptune turns around November 9th and moves slowly back into the sign of Pisces, it will stay there and we will not see Neptune return to Aquarius for another 184 years.
Our Full Moon July 15th formed a full cross of planets in the sky called “Cardinal Cross” - - the Universe is looking for its inhabitants to have a full awakening - - how are you doing so far?
-- Are you truly doing what you love?
-- Are you feeling fulfilled – or does there appear to be something missing?
-- How are you doing with your connections with the Divine?
-- Are you feeling any sense of peace?
In March/April we saw Jupiter (planet of expansion) go through the sign of Aries. I suspect this kept our Aries folks very busy!! Then it moved into the early sign of Taurus. Taurus on a world stage is all about security – so it means somewhere within our chart we are questioning our security/authority. Jupiter will start to retrograde ending part of August - - putting a lot of things on hold - - at least until after Christmas - - more on that in my August writings. But for now, things are moving……..
