WHO IS THE AUTHENTIC SELF
OF A CANCERIAN?

The sign of Cancer is the first “Water” sign of the zodiac. And when we think “water” we think about ‘emotions’. Probably one of the most emotional signs in the whole zodiac is connected to the Cancerian. Cancer individuals feel things internally. When hurt, they go inside of themselves (their shells) and sometimes it’s very difficult to pull them out. Their glyph which is the sign of the crab claws reveals their personality to a tee.
There are a number of things that appear to be significant when talking about a Cancerian. Most Cancerians have a memory like an elephant….they very seldom every forget anything! So, if you think for one moment, that something which happened 10 years ago, isn’t going to be brought up in the heat of an argument – think again. They file things away which can stay in memory forever. This can often be used in a very ‘useful’ manner as well, especially in the mind of a Sales Person who remembers everything about his/her client.
Because of this ability to ‘remember’ – once loved by a Cancerian, they never forget you. Their sense of love is extremely deep and when you have held a piece of their heart, your memory will always be there. To watch a mother bear protect her child, is reminiscent of a Cancerian’s love. They will protect to the day they die. Because of this characteristic, Cancerian’s often make great parents as long as they don’t go overboard with their protective nature.
The sign of Cancer is ruled entirely by the Moon. It would be advantageous to a Cancerian to keep track of all the moon phases and determine how they feel at each phase….just like clock-work, they will feel that same way, month after month as the moon changes its various phases. Full moon nights will certainly affect all the zodiac signs, but a person with either their own Sun and/or Moon sign in Cancer will be extremely affected.
Cancer people can be very complex and I often joke and say – I’ve yet to meet a Cancerian who couldn’t make a dollar out of a dime. They very seldom are risk takers as they have a strong need for security. They will do whatever is needed to establish and serve that security, ensuring they have enough put away for a ‘rainy day’.
To the outside viewer, Cancerians can appear to be as changeable as Gemini (the twins). As a rule, they are well-intentioned, but because of the constant changing of the moon phases, which affects their moods, they are at one moment sweet and charming and outgoing (especially when they have some objective in mind) and at the next melancholic, introverted and distant. Again I suggest, connect it to the phases of the Moon and you can see at what phase this takes place, recognize where this is coming from – versus being surprised by it.
One of the best signs in business is the sign of a Cancerian. Always sure-footed, slow and steady brings the avenue of business on board, alive and exciting at a pace easy to handle! A Cancerian is a treasure to have in your life.
