Without any astrology knowledge…..but by simply looking at the chart (of where we are right here and now)…you can see there are a lot of planets clumped together in the sky. This is a picture of what the planetary alignment looks like today. This ‘clumping’ can work great for some people….and not so great for others…..
First and foremost, it shows a somewhat intense time with everything clumped in one area of your chart. This means that one quadrant (one area) of your chart is being extremely highlighted and focused right now. Do you know where you should be placing your focus?
We are all at cross-roads right now; especially people who have a high amount of Aquarius energy within their charts and also Leo energy within their charts. As a matter of fact, both of those signs have a full Cross within their chart…..so if we were to draw lines within their chart, we would see something that resembled a X. Is this a bad thing? No, it simply means it’s important for them to weigh all of their options before moving forward. They may feel like they have no options…we ALWAYS have an option!
What about the fact that we are presently in a Mercury Retrograde situation? Look at the chart I have placed above. See the teal colored one up near the top? That is Mercury at 24 Degrees Aries (Rx means it’s retrograding). Be really careful on anything you sign right now….especially Aries individuals. This retrogrades continues until April 23rd.
It’s a delicate time for Aries individuals….because you should be flying high right now…with opportunities coming your way. Looking back at the chart see the planet that looks like a ‘4’ up near the top? That is Jupiter, our planet of expansion in the sign of Aries. Jupiter is presently at 15 Deg…moving up towards that Mercury Retrograde. Everyone mark April 11th on your calendar as Jupiter (expansion) will hit the Mercury Retrograde. This will be a day that a lot of us will perhaps have to eat our words. Be really carefully for the few days around that date to ensure you are watching what you are saying…and hopefully won’t regret it later. Where ever it presently shows up in your chart, will perhaps be the avenue of life that creates some strife.
We have a New Moon on Sunday April 3rd at 9:30am (Atlantic time). This new moon will also be in the sign of Aries…opening the door for newness and pioneering of spirit. It’s a great day to wear something ‘red’…set out red candles…wear ‘red’ jewellery. Allow the fire to come forth.
The sign of Uranus (planet of unexpected events) also up near the top of the chart is at 1 deg Aries. This is definitely the heralding of new things being done. Aries is the pioneering spirit and Uranus is the perfect planet to kick it into gear. We will see a lot of new pioneering on the world front. This will open the doors to new pathways that had not been discovered before. This will be in place for the next 8 or 9 years so exciting times ahead! Pisces will be glad that Uranus has finally left their sign which saw it totally take apart our Health Care system. Has it left it in shambles? Yes…but it means when it repairs this time, it will not be able to be upset again (at least for another 184 years when Uranus comes around again).
Uranus heading into Aries will see unexpected events connected with the Steel and Building industries and things to do with working with Metals. As I continue to say, it’s about Pioneering - - where no man has gone before. Personally, I think that is exciting. It may create some upsets in its’ pathway, but sometimes that’s not always a bad thing.
Where this shows up in your present chart shows where you may be experiencing some ‘upset’ to ‘rebuild’ again. Uranus in Aries is asking you to think outside of the box - - no longer think like you always did. Open yourself to new possibilities.
This line-up unfortunately is bringing in some unsettling weather which most of us are aware is arriving this coming weekend. Part of that is coming because again of that Uranus (unexpected events) connected with the red planet sitting next to it – Mars (looks like the male sign). Mars in weather represents ‘Wind”…..and connected with Uranus is usually not a great connection. Neither of them are retrograding right now, so this means they are both at high power. Not surprising to me that the weather forecasters are forecasting a storm….always happens when Uranus & Mars unite. As a matter of fact we hold a bit of that same pattern a little ways into April so our weather may not totally settle into place until about the 9th or 10th April.
We are definitely in exciting times as we also have the North Node to the Moon (lower right corner on the chart)….sitting at 26 Degrees Sagittarius. The sign of Sagittarius is all about truthfulness and laying the cards on the table. Hence we have seen the fall of government due to ‘non-truthfulness’ (supposedly). This is the year of ‘Truth” I think Ann may have even commented on that when she talked about the fact that we are in the numerological year of “4”. North Nodes also forces us to question our Life’s Purpose and where we best fit within the world. It may be pushing some Sagittarians hard right now with that actual question especially those born around 19th December. My suggestion to clients that seem to be going through these questions is - - Be true to your own heart. If you are going to lie to someone….don’t lie to yourself.
There is always polarity in everything in life. Which means, life never just affects ONE thing, but it affects many things at the same time. One great piece with that, is that it is majorly affecting the sign that is opposite Sagittarius which is Gemini’s right now. Gemini’s may be feeling that they know their life purpose or where they need to be….but man does it EVER look far into the distance.
The North Node in Sagittarius (which is there until Fall 2012) will really over-haul the spirituality world. Sometimes people talk the spirituality talk….but they don’t walk the talk. I think that this year and next year will prove that point. I also think we will
hear a lot of talk on Religion…and we will see a lot of disruption once again in that industry as the north node clears the pathway.
Our Full Moon is on 17th April at 9:44pm (Atlantic time). This is the full moon in Libra which was often known as the “Troth-Plight” moon. Libra is all about relationships…and so many people waited until the troth-plight moon to confess their love. It’s a good night to make a vow of any kind: lose weight, give up an addiction, or choose to study a new subject. One great way is to set up some kind of a ritual where you write that vow on a piece of paper, and then burn it, allowing the smoke to go up into the sky allowing for completion.
Every single person on earth right now is in the middle of making some great plans for life. They are so very evident within your chart. Meditate on this; allow the fullness to be open to you. Welcome all the changes that are going on around you. Everything has its purpose. One major thing to realize is that when one door closes, another one opens. Look for that open door.
