ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING
WHO IS THE AUTHENTIC SELF
OF AN AQUARIUS?
January 20 - February 18th
The last ‘Air’ sign of the zodiac is Aquarius. Most people believe that Aquarius is a water sign…but indeed it is not. It belongs to the element of Air - - having to do with ‘mental’ thought. The Glyph is often thought to be ‘waves of water’…but really they are ‘waves of electricity’. The birthday dates for Aquarius runs between January 20th – February 19th
Aquarians are known to be the ‘humanitarians’ & the 'visionaries" of the zodiac….always wanting to rid the world of rules and create peace and harmony among all mankind. If you have an Aquarian child – let me warn you (being an Aquarian myself)…DON’T try to instil rules – they will also find ways to break them. So, then, how does one deal with Aquarians? Fool them into thinking it was their idea all along!
Being seen as a visionary can have its 'pro's'...but it can certainly have its 'con's' as well. Generally, to be a visionary one must think at least 5 years ahead of one's time. So sometimes we scare people with our way of thinking and over time we become use to watching people's faces during our discussions. We generaly know they are thinking: What planet did you just fall from??? This can actually be quite entertaining to the Authentic Aquarius who has become quite comfortable in their own skin.
Very seldom do you have to ‘wonder’ what an Aquarian is thinking – they are more than happy to share their ideas with you, even though, deep within Aquarians are often very shy. They have enquiring minds and realize that the way they think....is quite different than the rest of society. You want someone to brainstorm with you? Call in an Aquarian....they can give you some bizarre ideas.
Aquarians are realists at heart so very often they do not ‘sugar-coat’ their ideas. Because of this manner, sometimes they can be referred to as ‘cold’ individuals. Air signs often live in their head…which means one of the great lessons of Aquarius is to get in touch with their heart…to open and to listen.
As I said earlier, they are indeed realists, which means another of their big lessons is to allow themselves to ‘dream’ – to look at ‘possibilities’ instead of shooting it down right from the very beginning. Life can be realistic.....but dream......allow yourself to play!
